I wasn't too sure about that first "bite".

Okay, so it wasn't so bad!

Nope, not bad at all!

In fact, it's pretty darn tasty!

Here Mom, let me help with that.

Let's try that again tomorrow, okay Daddy?

Then on Tuesday morning, my Grandma Cheryl and Grandpa Rick got there!!

My cousin (once removed) Wesley and me hanging out on Thanksgiving morning! Wesley and I are 6 months apart in age.
Grandpa Rick and Great Aunt Melissa preparing ONE of the Thanksgiving turkeys.

Grandpa Rick gives me lessons in turkey carving
The table is all set and the food is beginning to be set out! Toward the end of the meal, everyone got to share what they were thankful for. Aunt Melissa had also prepared beautiful name cards ahead of time that had our name and it's meaning, as well as a scripture on the back. We each shared these items as well (Mommy shared mine). Did you know that my name means "exquisite"? Mom and Dad had only ever seen "water" as the meaning of Dax. I'm kinda diggin' exquisite! :)
One thing I was thankful for this Thanksgiving was this Jumperoo!! I had so much fun in that thing that I now have one of my own at home!

Great Nana had alll 4 of her kids with her for Thanksgiving AND her 29th birthday this year!!
Everyone gathered for a sing-along that ranged from hymns to songs from musicals to old TV themes! I finally had to go to bed, but I know it lasted for quite some time. Here are some random pics from the rest of the week...

I had a great time meeting so much family and seeing my grandparents again!!! Thanks for hanging out with me everyone...you're all so much fun! Until next time...
xoxoxo ~Dax~ xoxoxo
Mommy, Daddy, and I got to hang out with Jack and his 'rents one more time before we headed to Lincoln...I'll miss you JP! Make sure you come visit me!
Camden and his mommy stopped over to say goodbye. You come visit me too, k? You're so much fun!
Now that we've moved into a house in Lincoln, we gotta shop for furniture. Here I am hanging out in my stroller at Nebraska Furniture Mart! Fun stuff!
And I also get to hang out with my Uncle Jacob a lot more!!! Yeah!!

And here I am helping Daddy get the computer back online so I can catch up with my blogging!
As Mommy and Daddy get rooms painted and everything, I'll post pictures. Right now, it's not a lot to look at. Mommy and I are headed to Buffalo and Canada for Thanksgiving where I'll get to meet Great Nana and Great Bud, Great Aunt Melissa, Great Uncle Ken, Christopher, Joshua, and Rachel, Great Uncle Michael, Great Aunt Erna, and Wesley (he's only 6 months older than me...I bet we'll have fun!), Great Uncle Tim, Great Aunt Patty, and TJ. I'll also get to see my Grandma Cheryl and Grandpa Rick again!!! It's going to be quite the family reunion!! I'll make sure to post pictures when I get back!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Oh, and here are a couple pics of the outside of the house for now.
