Go Mommy!

Mommy ran her fair share of 5K races last year because she was running or walking 30 minutes EVERY day. Her first 5K last year was the State Farm Run and that's the one she did again this morning...her first 5K of 2011! It was a snowy, cold morning, so unfortunately we had to cheer her on from home...I think she missed her fans!! We were sad to miss out too, but when we asked Mommy if anyone was going with her and she told us Jessy and Noel would be there, we felt better that she wouldn't be alone! Mommy finished her 5K this morning in 31:12 which is her fastest 5K time yet...compare that to 36:50 from the same race last year!! Yay Mommy!!

St. Patrick's Day '11!

Our morning started off with green frosted cinnamon rolls...

And green applesauce!!
We spent some time making green shamrock crafts!

Finally we got to eat the yummy corned beef we'd been smelling in the crockpot all day!

And some green cake to top off the day!! YUMMY!!

Zoo Trip!

We had 70 degree weather on Wednesday, so we took advantage of it and headed to the big zoo with our friends!

We got to see a mommy gorilla with her baby!!

The aquarium was our favorite!
