Visiting Uncle JJ

Today, we drove across town to visit our Uncle JJ. We miss him so much. We were happy to be able to see where he's living now. He even has a playground in his apartment complex!! We had a fun time playing on the playground, touring his apartment and playing with the guitar, and eating lunch outside on the picnic table. Check out our pics! We Love the Playground!

Now that the weather is nice more consistently, we have been spending a lot of time up at "our" playground at Mahoney Park. I (Dax) am becoming more and more adventurous and brave each time we go. These pics were taken on Saturday...notice Daddy helping me quite a bit. Today when Mama took us, I climbed right up that structure and went down that big green slide by myself. No fear!

Our Last Minute Omaha Trip

Last Thursday morning when we woke up, Mommy was feeling spontaneous. It was a rainy day, so we wanted to get out of the house. The three of us drove to Omaha and bought a new chair and loveseat for our living room upstairs. Then we met my mom's friend, Angie, for lunch at BK. After lunch, we headed to the Hogan's house where we got to play with Rocky for awhile before he had to go pick up his brothers from school. It was a fun day!! Here are a few pics (sorry, we don't have any of the furniture that we picked out...I'm sure you'll see it in future pictures once it's delivered!)

My 4 Month Appointment

According to Dr. Petersen, I'm a happy and healthy boy! And yes, I endured another set of shots and got 4 cool band-aids to prove it!

And here are my stats:

16 lbs 4 oz. (2 ounces shy of Dax at 4 months) (75th%)

25 1/2 inches (60th %)

Men of the Cloth...

Diapers, that is! We're making a big switch here in the Greenwood household...or at least we're going to try it little by little. Mommy and Daddy have decided to buy cloth diapers instead of disposables. They've done a lot of research and believe it is better for the environment and it will save us a few pennies in the meantime!!! I think that means more toys!!

My First Time in the Swing!

I wasn't so sure about swinging when Mommy first put me in, but once I got going, I kinda liked it! It's fun to be able to do something along with my big brother Dax!!

What We Do On A Cold, Rainy Day...

Today is not a pretty day in Nebraska! They're even talking about possible snow...in April??? Yuck! So, we're passing the day away indoors! We made it out to Toddler Storytime at the library too, but Mom didn't bring her camera along! It was the perfect topic today...bedtime! So, we got to stay in our PJs for it and bring along our teddy bears and blankets!!

Uncle JJ got a new apartment. We're happy for him, but we're going to miss seeing him around the house on a regular basis!

Post-Easter Egg Hunt

This weekend, St. Elizabeth (Daddy's work) hosted an Easter Egg Hunt. Before the hunt began, I got to meet the Easter Bunny and climb all over a big fire engine!! Then I got to hunt eggs, candy, cookies, and juice with other 1 and 2 year olds! I thought it was a lot of fun...Ian just slept through all of it in his stroller! Maybe he'll have more fun with me next year!
