A Post with No Pics

Boring...I know! Just thought I'd update you and let you know that we have not fallen off the face of the earth. We're just having computer issues! Something about the power supply according to Daddy. So, while I have plenty of pics I could be sharing, we're unable to upload them. The good news is that Mommy just ordered a new laptop for Daddy for his 30th b-day (which was yesterday)...Happy B-day Dad! So, once we get that delivered, we should be back in business.
Some pics and videos you can look forward to are Mother's Day, a trip to the Omaha Zoo, me pulling up and standing like crazy, and me attempting to crawl in a more conventional way as compared to the inchworm, lunge crawl that has gotten me around just fine for the last few months! We're also leaving for a long weekend trip to St. Louis tomorrow. So, I'm sure we'll have pics from that as well. So, sorry for the inconvenience, but I haven't forgotten about you all!

A Saturday Morning Stroll

I fought the mixed veggies and they won!

Daddy fed me mixed veggies for dinner last night and I just wasn't a big fan of having the stuff in my mouth. It was much more fun to play with it and get it everywhere but my mouth!!

Daddy got a little carried away here and added some food to my head! Guess who ended up having to bathe me though...Mommy! BUT Daddy got to clean the tray, the chair, the floor, etc.! I think Mommy really got the better deal. :)

My 9 Month Dr. Appointment

Well, it's official folks...I am definitely slowing down according to the growth charts, but I am not slowing down with my development in general! I weighed in at 19'11 (30th percentile) and measured 29 inches long (70th percentile). Physically, Dr. Petersen says I am doing everything she wants me to be doing for a 9 month old! And thankfully, I didn't have to have any shots this time around...I'm all caught up. I did have to have my finger poked though...my iron count was a little low, so I have to start taking a vitamin to get extra iron...I hope it's yummy!!

A Pleasant Surprise!!

On Sunday, we got a call from my friend Jack's parents. They were in town and wanted to go to lunch with us!! So we met up at Fireworks where the adults got some yummy looking food and Jack and I got free apple juice and crackers!
Come back and visit me again this summer, k Jack Jack? We'll take the adults somewhere WE want to go, and Mom promises she'll get better pictures!! :)

Hanging with the Carlson Clan

So, my future wife and in-laws were in town for a long weekend...don't worry, I came clean about kissing another girl and they've forgiven me! :) They were in town so Jessy, Nora's momma, could run her first marathon along with Nora's daddy, Greg!!! I got to watch them...it was awesome! Here are some pics of their visits with us.

The day after the marathon...we headed to the zoo, which is quickly becoming one of my fave places to hang out! Here I'm watching Nora's bro, Jack feed the goats.

I think I'm wondering here if Jessy is going to drop me...she's gotta be SOOOO sore after running a whole 26.2 miles!! She's amazing!

Here I am with Nora's grandpa and her sister, Grace on my first Z.O.&O railroad ride!! I was a little unsure of leaving Mommy, but I made it and it was a fun adventure!

9 Months ALREADY!!

Mommy got a couple pics of me on my 9 month b-day, but she's afraid her photoshoot days are over with me because I move all over the place! Who wants to sit still when you have the option to be movin' and groovin'? Not me!!

We'll update you all on my stats after we visit Dr. Petersen on Tuesday!

Walk America 2007

On Sunday, April 29, Mommy and I headed to Holmes Lake for Walk America. The walk was sponsored by March of Dimes whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.

We walked on St Elizabeth's team (that's where daddy works). They also have a good NICU there...that's where my friends Jackson and Nora spent the beginning of their lives.


It was a beautiful day for a walk...a little on the hot side.

There were LOTS of people...this was a pic that we took behind us...there were at least this many people in front of us too...pretty awesome!! Mom asked the ladies on the way out if they had a final count. They weren't sure but guessed over 2000!!!

The heat and fresh air put me right to sleep...here I am at the end of the 3 mile walk around the lake.
