Time for a Catch-up Post

A couple of weeks ago, we met up with our friends in Seward for some walking, playing, and eating!! It was the perfect weather, sweetest company, and yummiest food!!

Carrying on a very meaningful conversation with Mom!

Last Saturday after church, we decided to have a picnic at Holmes Lake...it was awesome!

For Daddy's birthday, he took the day off so that we could all hang out. We got to go have dinner at Red Robin (his fave)...they even sang a cool happy birthday song to him and brought ice cream and balloons!!! Mommy and Daddy got to go to a movie while Uncle JJ came to stay with us. Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Daddy has now introduced us to kite flying...one of his favorite childhood past times! And our very own Mahoney Park has the perfect spot for it!!

That's all for now folks!

Lots of Love~Dax and Ian

Our Date with Uncle JJ

On Tuesday we met up with Uncle JJ to eat at Noodles & Co. Yum! Then we played at the Lincoln Children's Museum! Fun!!

Enjoying some applesauce after sharing some Penna Rosa and flatbread with Mom!

Uncle JJ helping me catch the "bad guys" on the Police motorcycle!

It was fun to drive this semi with Uncle JJ...I think he and Mom had more fun playing with the walkie talkies than I did!!

Mother's Day 2008

We had a great day with Mommy on Mother's Day this year! Daddy told her she should stay home from work, so we could spend the whole day together! We let her sleep in until 9:15 a.m. When she woke up, she got a rose from each of her boys and then we went to breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Yum! We gave her cards which revealed that she gets to have a "Mommy Makeover". During naptime, Mommy got to relax on the couch and watch a movie. Then it was off to the zoo. There were free train rides for everyone, face painting, and free ice cream for the mommies. What a great day together!! We hope all the mommies in our lives had great Mother's Days too!!

My Enrollment in Sabbath School

Today, I officially joined Sabbath School at College View Church. Everyone sang me a special song, and I got my own name tag and certificate. Dax and I have so much fun at Sabbath School learning about Jesus! There are lots of fun songs, toys, and activities!

It's Farmers Market Season!!

Yay!! Every Wednesday until October, there is a Farmer's market about a mile from us. On Wednesday we walked there with Avery and her mommy. The walk there was fun because we got to walk on a busy street and see lots of cars and trucks...we even got to pass a construction site with some "blub-blubs"! And, of course, we got to enjoy some yummy treats while we were there!!

Our Applebees Lunch

On Tuesday, we had lunch at Applebees with the Lincoln Mommies group. We had a great time!!
