Teeth...and lots of 'em!

Yes, I have 4 teeth now and they all came within a week and a half of each other! Ouch!

Fun in the Haymarket!

This weekend, we spent some time in the Haymarket checking out the trains, eating, climbing, and throwing coins into the fountain. Fun times!

My Big Boy Bed!!

On Sunday morning, I helped Daddy turn my crib into a big boy bed!

As of this morning, I have had two successful naps and nighttimes in my big boy bed...I call it my cool bed! Mommy and Daddy are very proud of me!

Potty Training Update

I'm continuing to make progress. I think Mom and Dad are a little hesitant to take me out of the house in big boy underwear, but when we're at home, I do great (other than a little accident I had the other day...I'm not gonna go into any details there...just talk to my Uncle JJ!).

At the store the other day, Mommy let me pick out my own big boy underwear!Mom snapped this photo from behind since I wouldn't pose for her!

Mom also found some cool soap...once I push the guy's head down to dispense the soap, it blinks for 20 seconds. Until it stops blinking, I have to rub my hands together and make bubbles!

The Defenders of Freedom Air Show/Branched Oak Lake

Last weekend we drove up to Bellevue for the Air Show at Offutt AFB. It was so fun watching planes fly and do awesome tricks! We even got to play inside some real airplanes!

At lunchtime we met our friends Josh and Charissa at Red Robin. Sadly and surprisingly, Mom forgot to bring in her camera.

And as if we hadn't packed enough fun into our day, once we were back in Lincoln, we stopped home quickly to grab swimming suits and headed for Branched Oak Lake.

It was fun splashing and swimming, but we decided that Nebraska water is nothing compared to Pacific Northwest water!!

I've been spending lots of time in the buff...

Mom and Dad got out my potty chair on Monday evening to introduce me to the concept of using it. It's there to use if I want...we're not rushing it. But I really like the idea and I think I'm surprising my parents at how quickly I'm picking it up! I just run in there and go all on my own several times a day! This pic is of my feet on Tuesday morning...I decided this was a good place to put all the stickers I earned for using the potty! Yes, I got all these in one morning! I told you I was good! :) I'll keep you updated on my progress...

My Awesome 2nd Birthday Party!

On Sunday, Mom and Dad threw me a construction-themed birthday bash! I had so much fun with my friends!

When everyone got here, I gave them a construction hat that they got to decorate with some fun stickers and a tool belt to fill with tools.

For our "company-paid meal", we got a hamburger or hotdog off the grill and a sack lunch!

The highlight of the birthday party was painting the house that Daddy built for us! It was messy but we didn't care!

Luckily I had some friends to help me open my presents! I got some fun new stuff!

And then there was the cookie cake and "build" your own sundaes! YUMMY!!

We all had such a fun time and the weather was so great that we got to spend most of the party outside!! Thanks to all my friends for helping me celebrate!!
