My 3rd Birthday Bash at the Zoo!!

This year Mom and Dad decided I should have my b-day party somewhere other than the house since they knew Mom would be very pregnant and Dad would be coming up on a final at school. I was more than happy to have my party at the zoo because I love it there! It worked out great because there was very little work involved, which ended up being a good thing since Mom was on bedrest! It was a humid, rainy day and we didn't get to ride the ponies because of the rain but at least the train was still going and that's what matters most to me!! I had such a fun time with my friends and came home to tell Mom all about it...she couldn't believe I named off all the friends I had there! And Mommy says thanks to those of you who got pictures and videos for her!

A Visit from Grampa Roger!

Grampa made a quick trip up to the Midwest and passed by to hang out for an evening. We had a fun time playing and eating a yummy meal that he treated us to! Thanks for coming to see us Grampa...we had lots of fun with you!!!

August 6, 2009: Dax's 3rd Birthday!!

For my birthday, I got to spend a lot of quality time with my daddy and brother!! We did lots of fun stuff and stopped at Toys R' Us to pick out a present from Mommy and Daddy. Of course, I picked out Thomas the Train stuff, which is my newest interest! And I got to end the day with a cake made by Grammy. Blowing out the candles was my favorite part! Can you believe I'm 3 years old now?

Grammy is here with us while Mommy is on bedrest! My parents are extremely grateful and we're excited to have some extra time with her! We're also relying on her and Daddy to get pictures of our adventures so we can keep on Blogging! :)

Rainbow!!

One evening a couple weeks ago, Daddy was in school and Ian was in bed. Mommy noticed that it was raining and the sun had come out. She told me there was probably a rainbow outside. So, the two of us went out to check. Sure enough, there were two rainbows! We went back inside to grab our cameras. By the time we got back out, there was a cloud cover, so the pictures don't show how beautiful it really was! I told Mom that the rainbow is a sign from God.

Movie Time!

A few weeks ago, Mommy and Uncle JJ took us to our first movie...Monsters vs. Aliens. A couple of the theatres around here do movies a couple mornings/week that only cost $3/seat, plus you get free popcorn! We made it through the whole movie despite my (Dax's) initial hesitation.
