Fun times...

Last Thursday, Mommy and I headed west to our new friends' house in the country around Utica. We got to visit a farm and see chicks, calves, tractors, and a dog named Freckles! Later in the day we got to go to the Utica pool! We both had such a blast that day! Thanks for having us Jessica and Kate!!

My Daddy's First Father's Day!

For my daddy's first Father's Day, he got me a pool!! :) Really, I got him a present too, but it hasn't arrived yet...maybe Mom and I should have ordered it sooner, huh? So, Dad, Mom and Uncle Mark spent the afternoon setting up and filling the pool while I napped. It was too cold at first (see Daddy adding boiling water!). So, we went out for dinner at Red Robin and then came back for a dip in the pool. It was still cold, but it didn't phase me!! I still have a runny nose, though, to prove my tolerance to the cold!

Happy 1st Birthday Jack Parker!!

My buddy Jack has now joined the ranks of the one year olds...guess who's next? ME! Jack turned one on June 8 and we headed to GI to celebrate with a BBQ bash on June 16! Happy Birthday Jack!!

Here's me the next morning...we stayed the night at Tia Trish and Unca Regan's. That's their dog, Izzy. I liked giving her kisses through the glass!!

We have a special visitor at our house...

My Uncle Mark is here visiting us for 3 weeks! He's even taking time out of his football training camp to be here with us! I'm having lots of fun playing with him...I think I keep him pretty entertained too! :)

My buddy Camden came all the way to Lincoln just to see me. I think our mommies wanted to hang out too!! Did you know that Cam is going to be a big bro too? His mommy's due date is only 2 days after my mommy...another Christmas baby!!

Guess who's going to be a big brother???

That's right! ME!! So, from now on I'll be sharing this Blog with my little bro or sis!
My new bro or sis will be joining me around December 23rd...yep, a Christmas baby! We all got to hear the heartbeat a couple weeks ago and it was ticking away at 174 beats per minute. Mommy's midwife says that's a good strong heartbeat. We'll probably get to see pictures of my baby around my birthday when Mommy is 20 weeks along!!
I can't wait to have a new playmate!! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Uncle Jacob went to Korea for 2 weeks to visit Uncle Jer...we're so glad to have him back. And soon, Uncle Jer is coming to visit us!!

Having fun with Tia Trish

Now that Trish is on summer vacation (or at least isn't working quite so much), she is going to come and visit Mommy and me lots more. She was here on Monday and we took a walk up to Mahoney Park. Here are a few pics of the fun we had together. Can't wait for your next visit Tia Trish...you're so fun!!

Look at all the things I'm doing as I leave 9 months behind!!!

• I can pull myself up to a stand just about anywhere and then get myself back down
• I can walk behind push toys (or things I deem good enough to be a push toy like my highchair)
• I'm crawling and putting myself into a sitting position
• I can turn the pages of a board book if my parents initiate it
• I can do SO BIG
• I play peek-a-boo
• I can give high fives
• I wave "hi" and "bye-bye"
• I try clapping but can't quite get that "clapping" sound, so banging things together works for now
• I can sign "more" and occasionally "all done"
• I give kisses
• I LOVE to blow raspberries and it's even more fun to blow them on my parents' arms
• I absolutely love to feed myself blueberries and bananas, but my favorite is when I actually get a bite of something one of my parents are eating
• I put things into containers after I pull them out
• I can dance (I'm working on perfecting this)

Memorial Day Weekend in St. Louis

I took my first long car trip to visit our friends, the Wolfes, in St. Louis this past weekend. Mommy and Daddy drove mostly during my bedtime both ways so they didn't have to hear me scream too much! I think we all agree that it worked out really well that way.

Here we are at the St. Louis Zoo...it was very hot and crowded there, but we had a fun time checking out the animals!

Mommy and Daddy were excited about the Children's Place Outlet at the Mills Mall, but I just wanted to get to the play area!
