Strawberry Picking

A couple Saturdays ago, we headed to our favorite little Orchard and I experienced strawberry picking for the first time. We had the place to ourselves...it was a good, tasty time! Dax ate more than he picked, Ian really enjoyed picking but tended to go for the green ones, and I just went along for the ride and inspected what everyone else picked!

Part Two: Our Last Visit to the Children's Museum?

Part One: Our Last Visit to the Children's Museum?

We (some combination of us) have spent many days over the last few years at the Children's Museum and have enjoyed every single minute of it. This place is amazing and we have our favorites but it seems like we find a little something new to do every visit! Our membership ran out at the end of May, and since we're looking for a new job now that Daddy is finished with his MBA classes, we're not sure we'll purchase another annual membership. Mommy made sure to capture some of our (possibly) final moments at the museum...

My Surgery

On May 25, I had surgery to have tubes put in my ears. After consulting with an Ear, Nose, & Throat specialist, Mommy and Daddy decided it would be good for me. I've been having back to back ear infections since I was 5 months...no fun!! So, having tubes in my ears should keep me from getting so many ear infections...yay!!

And my bros had a great time that morning at the hospital...the nurses spoiled them!!!

I've recovered well and NO EAR INFECTIONS since surgery...we have my 3-week follow-up appointment on Tuesday!

Happy Birthday to Our Daddy!

On May 23rd Daddy celebrated his birthday. When Mommy asked me (Dax) how old I thought Daddy was, I responded "way old!". :) We made Daddy biscuits and gravy for breakfast, gave him presents and homemade cards, spent the day outside hiking and picnicking, and of course our day ended at our fave restaurant, Red Robin!! Happy Birthday Daddy...we love you so much!!!
