Our Fun-Filled Weekend!

Trish and Mallie drove from Grand Island to spend Friday and part of Saturday with us! We had a wonderful time playing with them! Please come again soon!!

On Saturday, we headed to Dairy Fun Day at Prairieland Dairy in Firth, Nebraska. We all had so much fun. The highlights were definitely the John Deere riding mower and playing in the corn!

We bought ourselves a couple of smaller pools this summer. Mom and Dad think it's just more practical than our big one. We're just glad to be outside in the water!

And we BBQ'd Sunday evening...I got to enjoy my first corn on the cob! Yummy!!!

Strawberry Picking!!

On Saturday morning, we piled into the car and headed for Roca Berry Farm for some strawberry picking!! It was a beautiful morning for it too!

My 6 Month Appointment

I had my appointment with Dr. Petersen on Thursday morning, and my stats are as follows:

Weight: 18 lbs. 15 oz. (75th%)

Height: 26 1/2 inches (30th%)

So, I'm 2 oz. heavier than Dax was at this point in his life, but I'm quite a bit shorter (he was in the 95th% for height at 6 months). So, yes, that explains my cute roly-poly thighs!! And Dr. Petersen is happy with my growth and development and loves my smile! Doesn't everybody? :)

And here's a pic of me sporting my bandaid on my chubby thigh after the hideous shots they gave me. And yes, this pic was taken hours after...I was not that happy at the time!!!

Our Zoo Trip with Uncle JJ

JJ has been coming to hang out with us on Tuesdays when Daddy is in class. He hangs out with and helps Mommy with dinner and bedtime! This week we all went to the Lincoln Children's Zoo. Here are some pics and of course a video of the train!

Our New Favorite Excursion!

After breakfast each morning, we've been walking over to Mahoney Park to play on the bridges. I love to collect sticks and throw them into the water. With all the rain last week, there has been plenty of water under the bridges, so my sticks make big splashes!

Father's Day 2008

We had a nice day with Daddy! In the morning we "maked Daddy muttins bwender"...translation: made Daddy muffins in the blender. Then we gave him a shirt with our handprints on it and a card with stickers! Of course we went to Red Robin again for dinner because that is Daddy's favorite place to go out to eat! We love you so much Daddy!
