Home Sweet Home!

Before we continue with our Fall pictures, we cannot forget to share a picture of our new home.

As most of you know, we spent our first several months in our new city in a state of limbo. During our first few weeks, we lived with Grammy and Gramps, then we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for about four months while we fought for the house we just KNEW was for us! During limbo, Mommy and Daddy were both working full time and we were hanging out with Grammy and our nanny, Katie.
September 16th marked the end of limbo!! We officially moved into our home and Mommy cut her hours in half to be home with us more again! Such a sigh of relief for us all! We are excited to make many memories, celebrate many holidays and birthdays, and develop new traditions as we all grow in this home!

Kruger's Farm Pumpkin Patch

We sure do miss Martin's Orchard this fall, but it is fun to explore new places! First up, Kruger's Farm over on Sauvie Island in Portland. We had a wonderful morning with Mommy taking a hayrack ride, picking out pumpkins, weighing pumpkins, washing pumpkins, riding our own tricycle "hayrack rides", pulling wagons, picking out gourds, and sharing caramel apples!

Circus...Suite Style!

One perk of Daddy's job is that he occasionally gets offered tickets for shows at the
Rose Garden in Portland. And even better is that the tix are for seats in a suite! We got our first experience in the suite when we went to the Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey Circus last month! What a blast!

Jude Turns TWO!

On August 26th, I spent the day at the zoo watching monkeys and being a monkey. Then I got to eat my own monkey cake and I liked it!

Oaks Amusement Park!

One of Mommy's co-workers told her about Oaks Park, and she immediately looked into taking some time off this summer to check it out with us! Grammy even got to join us! It was a pretty fun little park. It is one of the oldest continuously operated amusement parks in the U.S. It's almost 100 years old!

Back to the Beach!!

We had a gorgeous, warm weekend in August (yes, we're still 2 months behind!!). Daddy was out of town visiting Gramma, Grampa, Uncle Mark and Uncle Matt in Alabama. Mommy was craving the beach and we just couldn't resist! And the beach did not disappoint...it was even warm there, and that's a BIG DEAL in the Pacific Northwest (yes, even in August!). :)
