Snow!!

We woke up to a Winter Wonderland this morning, but there was still school! Bummer!

New Year's Snow!

We had the most perfect snowfall on New Year's Eve! Around here, we don't get a ton of snow, so when we do, we get out there fast because it doesn't stick around long!

Snow: Part Two!!

It was melting FAST! Because that's what it does here in the Pacific Northwest!

So, we were out the door right away the next morning...even before breakfast...to enjoy as much playtime in the white stuff as possible!!

Meet our friend Frosty! Sadly, he was a carrot, candy buttons, sticks and leaves

 by the end of the day!

Snow: Part One!!

The snow teased us for a couple days...we peered out our window, caught snowflakes with our tongues and hands, and wished for enough to play in. The snowflakes would fall...even big, fat, pretty ones. We would get excited! But there was never accumulation.

Until one night...

Snow Day Fun!!

Our neighbors braved the cold to walk a couple houses down to hang out with us for a few hours! We had a great time making Crayon shaving hearts, hanging Valentine's window clings, eating mac n' cheese, and jumping on the beds! We're so thankful for a warm house during these frigid days and for neighbors that are so much fun!

Sledding!!!

This weekend, we still had plenty of snow but the tempertures weren't so cold. Mommy decided us boys deserved to have our first sledding experience. We drove over to our park and Daddy found the perfect hill for us.

Jude was all bundled up and happy to be outside!

Mommy wanted a pic of all 5 of us...Daddy actually was able to do it!

We all took turns going down the hill with Mommy and Daddy first...

Even Jude joined in the fun!
Daddy asked us if we wanted to try going down the hill by ourselves. I kept telling him, "I'm not old enough." But when I saw Ian go, I changed my mind! If my little bro could do it, so could I!

I'm so glad I did...it was SO FUN!

Our Very Own Snowman

Our Daddy is not a huge fan of snow and cold, but we did convince him to help us build a snowman when the temperature soared into the mid-30s one day! Our snowman is sticking around, too, because the snow just keeps coming and the temperatures are staying very cold! We're really ready for spring so we can get outside with our lawnmowers again!!
